This important step follows years of discussions & presentations.

Summer has truly arrived, yesterday we shared some amazing dishes prepared by Maria using produce from the garden. We tried the first of our doughnut Peaces which were sweet and delicious, imagine peach Trees growing in Togher, we also have Fig,Apple,Plum,Apricot,and Pear trees.

We were delighted to welcome the local 5th and 6th class girls from Togher Girls National School. A wonderful day of learning, exploring, and enjoying the outdoors. It was great to share our garden, learn about nature together, and see such enthusiasm and curiosity.

Over the last few days, we harvested half of our garlic, planted outdoor tomatoes (endurance), did an inventory of our tools, and potted our squash.

today, spring, summer, autumn, winter, and back to spring again before Lunch 🌦️😂
The garden didn’t know whether to photosynthesise or build an ark 🌱🚣♂️ 🤭 we harvested some beautiful candy beetroot, planted lots more seed and filled the beds with new soil.

Great day today for The Community Garden,as our well has been started, this is an absolute lifeline for us, the last 2 summers we have had to hand water as our rain water system kept leaving us down. We had another visit from a group of Italian students and more seeds planted🌱
