Why do tournament organizations think they deserve kick backs on overpriced rooms? Do the tournament organizations think parents are idiots or do they think parents owe them donations? Why would any parent or organization pay more for the same rooms they could get cheaper by booking them themselves? Do these tournament organizations really think they are entitled to parents and organizations money? Have these tournament organizations ever heard of Airbnb and other affordable rental options? Gate Fees I have no problem with gate fees. But damn have someone at the gate collecting the freaking money. Asking organizations to pay you gate fees at registration advertises how lazy and entitled you really are.
