Perhaps the question isn’t whether caregiving is hard. It often is. The question is whether we’ve confused vulnerability with worthlessness. What if caring for one another isn’t a burden to escape, but a gift woven into what it means to be human? podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

One of my main roles as a middle aged church lady is nudging our Gen Z members to hang out with each other. "You like so-and-so? Great! Get his/her number and make a plan!" "You're feeling lonely? You know what, I had this exact conversation with so-and-so. You guys should hang out!" I can invite our younger people over & I do. Intergenerational relationships are precious. But I can also help them invite each other over. Gen Z is the loneliest generation on record, but that shouldn't be the case in church. Middle aged church ladies often focus on matchmaking couples. But what if our younger siblings need help making friends?

My dear friend Justine wrote her stunning testimony up for @TGC. I had the privilege of meeting her when she first showed up at our church and got to witness what the Lord was doing in her life. Well worth reading! 👇 thegospelcoalition.org/artic…
