Our Flood Operations staff started to drawdown our major flood control reservoirs to their winter holding levels by November. The release of this water (which we've tried to hold onto since spring!) will benefit downstream aquatic communities during spawning migration, and will create the capacity in the reservoirs to accommodate next spring’s snowmelt.
