First time buyer communities and also bungalow communities.
Can only buy the first if you never have owned a home, government bank roll the mortgage, prices only increase by inflation, no stamp duty.
Bungalows for over 70s, no stamp duty moving into the properties!
Let's be honest.
A lot of young people have stopped believing they'll ever own their own home.
That's what happens when rents are high, house prices are high, and saving for a deposit feels impossible.
My Labour government is stepping in to help.
With Your First Home, first-time buyers will be able to buy a new-build home with a deposit of just 2.5%.
Because hard work and saving should count for something.
And because the dream of owning your own home shouldn't belong only to those with help from the bank of Mum and Dad.

Three years ago, I came to this club and could never have imagined everything that would follow. From Wembley to European nights, we've had some fun.
Palace has become so much more than a football club to me. It’s where I’ve grown as a player, a leader and, most importantly, as a person. It’s where my children were born and where my family has shared some of the most special moments of our lives.
So to be able to sign a new contract and continue this journey means an incredible amount to me. We've achieved so much in the last few years, but we've got so much more to go!
I’m proud to be the captain of this club. Proud to wear this badge. And, above all, proud to call Palace home.
The story isn’t finished yet. ❤️💙

BoE cut the base rate to 4%.
Good news for borrowers, but with inflation sticky at 3.6%, is this the right decision?
