David Vassegh revealed on AM 570 that players around MLB were texting him during Game 2 because they believed the Brewers had Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s pitches.
Vassegh specifically pointed to at-bats from Jake Bauers and Brice Turang. Bauers fouled off six consecutive pitches during a 12-pitch walk before Yamamoto’s night ended after only 2⅔ innings.
There is no confirmation that Yamamoto was tipping pitches or that Milwaukee knew what was coming—but other players apparently saw something that caught their attention.
