I like Doi now. 100%. I can see that I hadn't been understanding his work in its most comfortable form, but god fucking damn, this man is good. I love this drawing of Okuninushi and Kushinada, they both have this distinct sharpness and sense of life.

Games that tackle unique perspectives on events are really fascinating. Imagine a sequel that takes the perspective of someone who knows none of the personal journey of the cast of the previous game. Maybe they even hate the previous game’s protagonist, or cast.
