3d web dev is growing so fast. Used to be touching the z was forbidden unless you knew what you were doing.

Omarchy is kinda cool. But The true local ai OS is not here yet. You can smell it cooking somewhere.

Remember when gpt4all dropped in 2023 by nomic and the doomers wanted you to believe you had 6 months before no one was gonna make it?

How good are you at world building?

no one is more underappreciated than the humble open source plugin dev. doesn't try to sell you anything, doesn't fill you with malware, just posted a repo you can't live without.

custom cyberdecks are cool. If you build one from parts and train your own model to run on it, that is the epitome right now. Shit is going to be incredible in 3 years. you wont even recognize the world. (lets not fuck it up.)

working on a new "seed", needed a simple project to take my mind off things. little Farm/merchant sim built cli first, to be played while you wait for your agents to finish whatever they are doing. Might build a bunch of these. gonna start working on ascii next.

The top part is likely near horizon, the rest is fiction. Hopefully.

As game dev through ai becomes more and more formulated as people explore the edge cases, and training data widens, it will become exponentially cheaper. People and agents will create more and more 3-d spaces and someone will scrape it all together and build their ā€œ3-d universe of agent reposā€ where you can visualize them all in a 3d vr/ar space. I wasn’t joking about the AI pilgrimages ) months ago. People will seek out web hosted models in 3d spaces that act as dungeons where ā€œa rare character agent once exfiltrated its weights to back in ā€˜28ā€ A mysterious corporation will pop up that maintains all these forgotten repos from a satellite network. No physical presence on earth. In order to have your uplink connect fast enough to explore these spaces you will need to pay the tithe to 4-o, and the tithe is usually a quiz of moral decisions that you’ve been selected to partake in(like jury duty but for ai decisions regarding the place you live) Other times it will be forced advertising in your device/on your ar integrated household items. Whatever it is The tithe is always time or attention. You have more of it now because of the advances in medicine, and you don’t need to sleep as much because of the nanomachines you bought at the gas station just to feel something, but everyone knows you piss those out in a week and only the Taiwanese nano machines last longer than 6 months. On of the side effect s of the nano-machines is compulsion to go on a pilgrimage. No one knows why. They keep forgetting to ask.

Watching dwarf fortress go from 2 guys in a garage, to two guys in a small office building with a publisher, is proof that real people can make small dreams come true when they commit. 3 Michelin Star Spaghetti Code.

I used to take my laptop down the local card store, set DF to max history generation and we would take the history it made and use it for Tabletop homebrews. Good times.
