Actually, you have made “baker’s sugar”, true powdered sugar has some cornstarch blended in.

You can make powdered sugar at home by blending 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch in a high-powered blender or food processor for 2 to 3 minutes You can also make brown sugar at home Light brown sugar: 1 cup white granulated sugar + 1 tablespoon unsulfured molasses Dark brown sugar: 1 cup white granulated sugar + 2 tablespoons unsulfured molasses

Just keep in mind: powdered sugar is flammable when it is dispersed in the air as a fine dust. This can create a fire hazard, especially near open flames or heat sources.

Buttermilk. Add 2 Tbsp vinegar or lemon juice to the milk and let it sit for 5 minutes

It's not quite the same. You need to add a little cornstarch.

Mayo is just oil, an egg, some mustard and vinegar. Takes about 20 seconds to make and tastes so much better than store mayo. You can use whatever oil you want, I like avocado oil.

Won’t be the same in all recipes that call for powdered sugar b/c store bought has corn starch as an anti-caking agent so you may need to take that into account

Wear and tear on your blender ✅ Frosting the inside of the container plastic ✅ Inferior texture ✅ Very loud ✅

Need a particularly powerful blender, but I hear you can use a similar method with a pistol to yield gunpowder.

Powdered sugar has added corn starch to keep it from clumping.

Every baby cereal you ever purchased. Rice cereal, rice and blend, barley cereal, same. Carrots, cook, blend freeze... Was blessed. My wife breast fed and then made all that... I appreciated it more than she knows. Got us through a lot of tough months.

Butter is heavy cream. Add salt and its salted butter. No salt it’s unsalted.
