Covering up for the overnight frost, using the Evergreen germination sheet, courtesy of @SSStadia. We’ve used it now for the last 5 years for our end of season work and had great results with our germination strike rate. Hopefully it helps keep out tonight’s -4 🥶

A few months ago I was asked if a all female grounds team could deliver the IT20 @WarwickshireCCC I agreed on one condition it had to be professional women from the industry doing it from start to finish. Working with these women all week has been a pleasure.1/2

Finished the week off with a bit of Sunshine. The outfield has been cut down and some 6-0-24 chucked on ready for tomorrow’s rain. So frustrating this time of year as the outfield is absolutely plagued with worms.

No cricket for ten days enables us to double vertical-cut and get some much needed juice into the square. Have to be cruel to be kind, taken a ton bag of thatch out of 9 pitches. @DennisMowers @TurneyGroup @samgreen123 Rayzor still working wonders. #ncccgroundsman
