The Queen has hosted a reception for @RoyalOsteoSoc at Clarence House marking its 40th anniversary. Camilla is president of the charity, which she has supported since 1994, the year her mother Rosalind Shand died of the bone disease.

At 2.30pm today, Lord Black will be asking @DHSCgovuk's Baroness Merron about an update on the gov's commitment for universal fracture liaison services in England. Two years into this parliament there have been more than 80 Ministerial commitments on this but no new services yet. Can @jamesmurray_ldn and/or @andyburnham deliver on this where their predecessors have been unable?

Speaking on ITV Lunchtime News, Craig Jones, Chief Executive of the Royal Osteoporosis Society, said: "People with osteoporosis feel they're being asked to wait indefinitely by the Government and are left wondering if, in reality, they have been abandoned." At the current pace, we won't see this pledge fulfilled until 2064 – eight general elections' time. Ministers have promised this roll-out 85 times, but a pledge on paper saves no lives at all. A new Health Secretary offers the chance to rescue this policy, turn this around and save lives. My favourite film is Aftersun, which I’ve just watched for about the seventh time. This subtle film conveys so much through small moments. A young dad and his 11 year old daughter on a holiday in Turkey looked back on 20 years later. It’s astonishingly good.
