Blackouts/protests like this never work because of the fact that they’re often set for a specific amount of time. A company as big as Sony can afford to wait a week, so if one were to protest against them you’d have to do an indefinite blackout.
The PSBlackout protest begins tomorrow, August 23.
The campaign is calling on PlayStation users to stay logged out of PS5 and other PlayStation services for several days as a way to protest Sony’s recent decisions.
Supporters are being asked to avoid logging in, making purchases, and using PlayStation services during the protest.
The protest is expected to run for several days
