day 6: planets 🪐
today we’re exploring a galaxy on bitcoin.
@PlanetsBitcoin, created by
@CreatorBitcoin, brings together 2,100 unique handcrafted planets across 21 dimensions, with 100 planets in each.
what caught my attention is how the pieces connect. you can visit neighbouring planets, look back at your own from another viewpoint and explore the wider galaxy. each piece becomes a place you can spend time in.
there are moons, rings, satellites, comets and spaceships. one detail i really like: a solar flare appears with every new bitcoin block, connecting the experience to bitcoin’s rhythm.
there are also Block Planets, which use transaction data from special bitcoin blocks to shape their designs. the history of the chain becomes part of the artwork.
i’ve talked before about wanting more ways to enjoy the art we collect. this is the kind of idea that gets me curious. giving people somewhere to explore, discover details and come back to.
the video gives you a glimpse of the galaxy. open the link and explore it for yourself 🫡
