I’ve finished reading Hydra’s Wake, and the review is going to be my first article here on X. Now reading: A Healer’s Prophecy. @CreatureAuthor @karolines_quill

I think I've managed to nail down some of the more difficult scenes to sort out in Lich's Wake. For those familiar with the Wake Series shenanigans, it's no surprise that we'll be in for more paranormal/transdimensional craziness, and this time, we've spiced things up with temporal distortions. From characters seeing their future selves pop in and out constantly throughout the book (though not in a linear fashion, things are clearly out of order), to characters experiencing two different points in time at the same time. (Imagine your left eye seeing present time, and right eye seeing seven years in the future you, and experiencing both at once, with each environment and the people in them, interacting to what you say or do, which itself will be the same for both experiences, (and yes, those sequences were a head case to keep straight while writing, and they are some of the most ambitious sequence concepts I've tried to execute).) And did someone say ancient mega temples, mummies, and a literal moon eating lich kaiju? ((Give a warm welcome to Olimaw!!! Hailing from Philippene mythology, just google if you're curious.)) Revision work is finally on the home stretch, and the editing battle will begin in the coming weeks!
