my first ever X payout for the new program!

Using a case on an iPhone is like using a condom. It’s safer, but it just doesn’t feel the same.

From what I’m seeing on my TL, the new X payouts seem to be about the same as the old program. It could also be that a lot of people cancelled Premium, meaning fewer subscriptions are contributing to the pool.

X no longer shows the amount you got paid in the notification itself:

Everyone is expecting OCR payouts to automatically be higher because fewer creators got accepted. But that’s not guaranteed. X removed the “up to 25% of Premium revenue” wording from its site so we don’t actually know what % of revenue is being paid now or even exactly how payouts are being calculated. It could be higher. It could be lower. We’ll just have to wait and see 👀

The stats for the 1st official Original Content Rewards payout on September 25th ended tonight. Make sure you manually select September 8th through September 22nd since the program started on September 8th. Curious to see how payouts compare to the old revenue sharing program.
