Mount Clemens, Mich.– Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announced that Andrew Walker, 28, of Detroit, and Deanote Lindsey, 27, of Harper Woods, were bound over on serious charges stemming from an alleged series of thefts from work trucks across Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne Counties. It is alleged that Walker and Lindsey targeted work vehicles parked in driveways and commercial parking lots throughout the tri-county area, operating at various times of day. They are accused of breaking into at least 10 work vehicles. During one incident, it is further alleged that when a victim attempted to prevent the suspects from fleeing with stolen property, one of the men produced a handgun and pointed it at the victim. On July 16, 2026, and Thursday, September 24, 2026, a Preliminary Exam was held for Walker and Lindsey before Judge Sebastian Lucido in the 41-B District Court in Clinton Township, Michigan. At the conclusion of the exam, Judge Lucido bound both men over as charged on the following counts: Count 1: Armed Robbery, a felony punishable by life or any term of years Count 2: Conducting a Criminal Enterprise, a 20-year felony Count 3: Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, a 4-year felony Assistant Prosecuting Attorneys Jeff Hall and Emily Annal represented the People at the Exam. “Armed robbery is not just a crime against a business or an individual—it is a crime that affects an entire community. When people are threatened with a weapon and their sense of security is taken from them, it makes residents question whether they are safe in their own community. Criminal enterprises that engage in this type of conduct create even greater concern because the threat is not isolated to one incident. My office will continue to hold those who commit violent and organized crimes accountable and work to ensure that Macomb County remains a safe place to live, work and raise a family,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido. Walker and Lindsey are scheduled to be arraigned before Judge Michael E. Servitto of the Macomb County Circuit Court on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. Both men remain in custody at the Macomb County Jail.
