I wrote this piece two years ago, on the one year anniversary of Oct 7th.
Unfathomable what happened on that day.
Couldn't have imagined, since then, that violence against Jews and brain-dead Jew hatred would become normal.
If it needs to be said, I stand by Jews everywhere, in Israel or out.
You don't need special theology, BTW or 'Christian Zionism' or anything else to support Israel's right to defend itself and exist... just a brain, a little history, and a moral compass.
... and if you want at Jews, many of whom are simply fellow Americans, you're going to have to come through a lot Christ-following, freedom loving, gun-owning normies like me first.
Most of us have a life and don't live online.

It's rare that a book has me chuckling in both surprise and delight -- but 'Henderson the Rain King' is doing it.
Flannery O'Conner is another one -- brilliant, thematically dense, and you have no idea what she'll do next.
What a hoot.
In addition to being one of the 20th century's greatest literary stylists, Saul Bellow was an avid defender of Western Civilization.
He was famously accused of being a racist for coming out with the following cheeky remark:
"Who is the Tolstoy of the Zulus? The Proust of the Papuans? I'd be glad to read him."
Though Bellow later attempted to distance himself from these words, he certainly had a point.

Yes. the dolt is a white dude, and even if that's something of a cheap shot, who cares?
If young white dudes are oppressed / untouchable and must be treated with kid gloves because we want their vote, then how is that different from the woke - DEI pandering in the other direction?
You pay taxes to cover welfare for people who just choose not to work. That’s why I launched a welfare-to-work requirement.
If you’re young, healthy, and get government assistance, you should work, go to school, or volunteer.

At my OT Bible Study last night, I spoke to a gentleman (60's) whose father AND grandfather were German Jews during Kristallnacht.
They ran to a burning synagogue, wanting to rush in and save the Torah scrolls.
Someone told them: 'If you go in there, you won't come out alive.'
They stayed out and survived.
Just two generations ago.
