I’ve noticed a massive shift in crypto culture.
Years ago, my generation built communities differently.
We found something we believed in.
We held. We worked for our bags. We raided Twitter. We brought people in. We contributed. And most importantly, we were patient.
Some of my biggest wins didn’t happen in 10 minutes.
They took weeks. Sometimes months.
But when they finally moved, they MOVED.
Today, crypto feels like the TikTok generation took over the market.
Scroll. Buy. Sell. Next.
Attention spans are measured in seconds and conviction is almost nonexistent.
And honestly, I think a lot of it comes from fear.
People have been rugged so many times that they’re scared to hold anything.
One guy buys → green candle → everyone buys.
One guy sells → red candle → everyone panics and sells.
No thesis.
No strategy.
No conviction.
Just sheep following sheep in a giant casino.
And it doesn’t matter if fees are cheap or which chain you're trading on. If nobody is willing to hold, build, support and give a narrative time to develop, most tokens are designed to die.
That’s the difference between a meme that lives for 20 minutes and one that builds a real cult, survives multiple cycles, reaches millions or billions, and eventually gets listed on the biggest exchanges.
The strongest memes were never just charts.
They were communities with conviction.
Maybe the biggest edge in this market today isn’t being faster.
Maybe it’s simply having the patience everyone else has lost.
