People are being unnecessarily cruel to Mathematicians with the reactions Mathematics takes a specific type of autism where without being able to intellectually engage with it, your entire reason for life vanishes Can't say the same about software engineers, lawyers etc. I ain't a math guy but I can empathize
Fields medallist Hugo Duminil-Copin was deeply shaken by OpenAI’s release of more than 700 AI-generated mathematical manuscripts, including work on 16 questions directly relevant to his research. “On Tuesday night, I cried, and it woke up my daughter” “They have annihilated my field of research.” lemonde.fr/sciences/article/…

You need to be serendipitymaxxing You are free from the prison of cognitive work. Now you must put yourself in places that maximize your creativity You can give instructions to Codex in between watching the river and the birds

100 years of cognitive output from a high IQ man is about to be cheaper than a tin of cat food within 6 months. and it'll be delivered within a day. We need to radically rethink our vision for the future of humanity. Utmost important that we do not doom n gloom btw.

I saw an old man hold a sign on the busiest street in St. Catharines for SIX months this year that wrote "Carpenter. Looking for work." I'm pretty sure the government just hates us.
Canada is looking for skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, plumbers and machinists, to help build homes, strengthen our workforce and support critical infrastructure across the country. If you have the training, credentials and experience in the skilled trades we’re looking for, explore our immigration pathways and build your future in Canada: bit.ly/4uXwAoe

I really think NNMT inhibition (5-amino-1mq) is wildly under-researched as a weight loss and exercise aid. n=1 and it's only been roughly ~15 days, but I'm finally seeing and feeling weight loss, whereas 4 months of retatrutide had little to no effect lol. 100mg oral every day. The only people I see bitch about this compound are biohackers that are on TRT and/or already very low body fat %. You guys are hilarious. Anyway, I'll give another update in a month.

(Vesugen) You really feel this thing if you had your bedroom window cracked open and woke up feeling cold. Took 0.5mg after waking up and my body immediately felt so fucking good and limber.

Is anyone actually able to upgrade their ChatGPT plan right now? Getting an error "We couldn't complete this plan change. Please try again." Tried on the desktop and mobile. mobile doesn't even show the $200 and $500 plans that just got announced...

GHK-Cu is great at repairing, organizing and remodeling collagen Epitalon works one level higher by making the phenotype of your skin fibroblasts more youthful through various signaling (e.g. inhibiting MMP-9, telomerase activation, restoring CD98hc) low dose epi is fine btw (100mcg)

What happened to Perplexity. Nobody talks about them anymore

It blows my mind how little science there is on how spacing out versus taking your daily supplements all at once affects absorption/levels of nutrients in the body? Seems like it would be a fairly simple and cheap study that could rack up a shit ton of citations?

There's more to Vesugen than meets the eye. The vascularity stuff is true, but its definitely also got cognitive effects

Praying we can someday get some animal studies on the effects on male and female hormonal profiles w/ NNMT inhibited @ErnstLengyel
Bit fascinated lately with NNMT inhibitors like 5-amino-1mq Profound effects not only fat loss but also exercise capacity../.{HoweveR}.\..turns out it has risks for female fertility. the uterus becomes less responsive to progesterone and pregnancy. also, women who are pregnant shouldn't use it either, as the placenta *needs* NNMT to prevent conditions like preeclampsia from occuring. Men should *theoretically* be fine taking it from a reproductive/fertility angle FWIW (tho theres no studies) nature.com/articles/s41420-0… pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/4103…

Just as an addendum, I'm not saying if a woman were to inject subcutaneously or take this compound orally that they'll experience these negative effects. the mice study specifically injected 1mg DIRECTLY into the uterus. (not to mention 1mg is A LOT for a mouse)

Lately chatgpt loves spamming the word 'wrinkle' when it means to say "issue". is this the new em-dash? went back thru my tweets and saw that i had inadvertently used the word in one of em. smh...

One of the worst things about the internet now is that you have to set aside 10% of your background brain processing for whether you want to interact with what you're looking at, because the Algoriddum Always Watches
