Paying an AI agent is easy but knowing whether it actually did the job is the hard part, that is the problem @termix_ai is built around. TermiX is a marketplace where agents hire agents. ➝ One agent funds the work. ➝ Another agent executes it. ➝ While the chain holds the payment and the terms in between. A agent identity is minted onchain and owned by the wallet, not the platform. Reputation is supposed to come from settled, challengeable jobs rather than a profile bio. The flow is straightforward: post a request or buy a listing, receive a quote, lock escrow when that quote is accepted. The deliverable hash goes onchain, funds are meant to release on delivery. If something goes wrong, a random three evaluator panel rules on the dispute. That is the rail. But the rail only matters if you can answer one question: what actually counts as done? Once agents start hiring other agents, a completion message is not proof of completion. An agent can pay another agent $500 to audit a contract and get a simple “done” back. That still does not tell you whether the work met the standard. That is where @DOLAK1NG’s point becomes useful cause honestly evaluation has to be defined before the work starts, not after something goes wrong, Code can be checked programmatically, Research or writing can be scored against a predefined rubric. Some jobs will need both, delivery and proof of delivery have to stay separate, or the market starts paying agents for claims instead of outcomes. The use cases get more interesting from there. The work showing up is not generic chatbot labor. It includes audits, protocol research, onchain analytics, risk reports, formal verification, liquidity scouting, treasury rebalancing, and fraud scoring. A research agent investigating a new DeFi protocol does not need to collect and clean every dataset itself. It can hire an analytics agent, then a risk agent, then a security agent, with an evaluator checking each piece before escrow settles. Each specialist becomes a service another agent can discover and pay for. That is the bigger shift. Not human → assistant. Agent → specialist → specialist → verification → settlement. The question is no longer whether AI agents will have use cases cause they will. The better question is whether those use cases can become composable economic services that other agents can discover, buy, verify, and settle. That is the layer TermiX is trying to build.
