This Nigerian family helped a Nigerian lady who came to the UK to study just three months ago.
They accommodated her and were collecting Β£300 for rent. It was cheap because renting around the school area was between Β£500 and Β£600.
When the lady got to school and met some friends who later taught her bad stuffs, she later discovered that the people who accommodated her were also renting the property. She then proposed that they reduce her rent to Β£200, or else she would report them to the landlord.
They disagreed, and eventually, she reported them to the landlord.
The landlord came to the property that same day and told the tenants to vacate the apartment because they had breached their tenancy agreement.
Now, both of them are looking for house.
Itβs difficult to help Nigerians in the UK. π¬π§
