It’s crazy to think that 2 years ago, ~80% of my portfolio was in $BBSNEK.
And a huge part of that came down to trusting one person: @AdaBrooksie .
Why?
Because he was the whale. He provided the liquidity. At some point, you realize you’re basically trusting a person you’ve never met with a meaningful part of your net worth.
Then the hack happened.
We got hit. We recovered. The community came together — and we kept trusting @AdaBrooksie .
One day, Cardano may have billions of users. The ecosystem will be bigger, louder, and many of us may lose touch along the way.
But we should never forget the people who took the risk when almost nobody was watching.
The real VCs of Cardano were the community members who showed up early, provided liquidity, took the hits, and stayed.

I noticed the sentiment around Cardano Whale. I miss him too.
I'm glad that delegators noticed his retirement and delegated to other DReps. However, there are still 274 ADA holders delegating about ₳6.8M to him.
A lot of small active DReps would appreciate the support.

My money, my choice.
That's assuming that Satoshi / the owners of the coins don't migrate them. In which case, they were likely already effectively permanently frozen.
And assuming that Hourglass isn't adopted.
