Not a $ZEC hater, I just don't think it's something to FOMO into
-If you want a long term store of value, stick with Bitcoin.
-If you want full privacy, stick with $XMR
$ZEC was fun for a moment, but it's transparent by default so it's never going to be a true privacy coin.
Nor is Zcash ever going to dethrone Bitcoin as the consensus store of value coin. The consensus isn't switching from Bitcoin to Zcash. You're fooling yourself if you believe that.
Zcash is grabbing attention because it's being HEAVILY marketed by the exchanges & KOLs. Big dollars are being tossed around to get eyes on Zcash. Winklevoss & Gemini, I've seen most of the big KOLs around here be sponsored by $ZEC in their posts.
A true privacy coin doesn't need marketing, it speaks for itself.
