This physical cards gacha meta is still π©π© and most people don't even realize they're getting farmed;
- no new value is created, these are just existing physical TCG cards being repackaged. The prices already exist in the real world, so you're just re-trading the same poop with extra steps
- it's a pure extraction layer. Pack fees + trading fees + buyback spreads. House takes a cut on every single move while you chase the rare pull
- better floor than pure 2021. jpegs? Sure, but also a hard upside cap because everything gravitates toward physical market prices. No real price discovery, no moon potential.
Wallet integration got better, pack openings look nicer, but the economics are worse than 2021. NFT hype era. Rare pulls are still lottery ticket odds and the platforms print while the community rotates the same bags around.
And that's cool if you're into collecting those collections. But lets be frank; most of you are not, you're just degens that want a quick dopamine shot and a potential easy buck, same as this guy in his third crypto cycle.
And remember; no crying in the casino, cause this one just has a prettier UI.
