🚨 CoinEx Announces Shutdown CoinEx has announced that it will begin an orderly wind-down of its operations, starting September 15, 2026. The exchange, founded in 2017 under the ViaBTC Group, cited the prolonged downturn in the digital-asset market, declining trading volume and liquidity, as well as rising compliance costs. According to CoinEx: • The wind-down process begins September 15, 2026 • Withdrawals will remain available until December 22, 2026 (UTC+8) • After that date, the exchange will cease operations • CoinEx says its asset reserve ratio remains above 100% • User assets are reportedly fully backed and available for withdrawal CoinEx also says it will continue publishing its Proof of Reserves. If you hold funds on CoinEx, make sure you review the official announcement and withdrawal deadlines.
