Hey Kas Fam, I need the help from our amazing community. I’m writing my bachelor thesis on Kaspa as a practical cryptocurrency for everyday use, comparing it to others and analyzing how it solves the blockchain trilemma... GHOSTDAG is an evolution of PHANTOM. In "PHANTOM: A Scalable BlockDAG Protocol," Figure 3 on page 7 describes the greedy algorithm, considering the parameter k = 3. This means that a block can have up to 3 anticone blocks, after which it is added to the blue SubDAG. In step 5, block L is added to the SubDAG, even though this block doesn’t know block C, H, K, and M from the SubDAG. Does anyone know why? Also for the scalability aspect, I need to understand Kaspa’s TPS. I found in the source code that the maximum block mass is 500,000, and I estimate around 300 TPS per block at 10 BPS, but I’m unsure how the transaction size and mass are calculated to achieve this overall TPS. Since I need to reference reliable sources, it is difficult to find citable sources. Can anyone here help me out please?
