An idiot who traded randomly for 5 years and somehow learned how to trade. 📈 No guru. No bullshit. Just charts, mistakes & lessons.

🧵 HOW TO TRADE — explained by an idiot who has paid the market approximately £40,000 in tuition fees. I’m an uneducated idiot. I can’t write for shit. And English isn’t even my first language. So if you see a tweet in this thread that is somehow written properly… IT’S THE AI. 😂 I’ve watched and traded the markets non-stop for 5 years. At work. In the car. At home. Basically anywhere I could sneak a chart onto my screen. I’ve taken good trades. I’ve taken fucking awful trades. I’ve entered randomly. I’ve overtraded. I’ve held losers like a complete muppet. I’ve probably made every stupid mistake you can make. And collectively, those mistakes cost me around £40,000. But after 5 years of staring at charts, losing money, making money, and doing it all over again… I’ve actually learned a thing or two. So this thread is going to be me explaining how I trade. No Lamborghini bullshit. No “100% win rate” nonsense. Just charts, mistakes, risk management, entries, exits — and how I learned to sometimes get in and out of a trade within 15 minutes. If an idiot like me can learn this shit… Maybe there’s hope for you too. 😂 Let’s fucking go. 👇

hedera-hashgraph:native | 6-hour chart Price is testing the bearish FVG, where I’m watching for resistance. I’ve closed my long here and am waiting for a potential pullback. My planned re-entry is at $0.0848. #HBAR #Hedera

$ETH | 6-hour chart Price has tapped the bearish FVG. I’m watching for a rejection and a move lower from here. My planned long entry remains at $2,590. #ETH #Ethereum

hedera-hashgraph:native | Daily chart Price has reclaimed the 200 EMA. If it holds above this level, I’m watching $0.12 as the next upside target. #HBAR #Hedera

$XRP | 3-day chart Price tapped the bearish FVG and reversed into the bullish FVG. If this support holds, I’m watching for a push into the $1.80–$1.90 area, followed by a potential rejection back toward $1.42. #XRP

$ETHUSD | 3-day chart Bearish divergence and a tap into the bearish fair value gap have me watching for a reversal lower. If the rejection holds, the $2,000 area is my downside target. #ETH #Ethereum

Here’s another example. Around a PPI/CPI period I was watching: TOTAL3 ETH XLM XDC The market had been heading down. PPI came out and we got another move lower. But afterwards I noticed something interesting. On the 30-second chart, ETH started recovering and building an upward structure while some of the others weren’t responding in quite the same way. Then approaching the next major data release, I started seeing ETH and XLM showing little bursts of strength while the broader move was still trying to push down. Now THIS is where experience can become useful. I’d seen markets do something before major news: Push one direction. Wipe people out. Violently reverse. Wipe the other side out too. Then finally choose a fucking direction. 😂 So my first thought was: DON’T TRY TO BE A HERO. WAIT FOR THE DATA. When the release came, the market took a deep dive. I waited for that move to exhaust itself and then hit BUY manually. I happened to catch very close to the bottom of that move. Not because I possessed some magical fucking CPI crystal ball. 🔮 I didn’t KNOW where the bottom would be. And the same setup next time could behave completely differently. What helped me was recognising behaviour I’d seen before and being READY to react instead of trying to predict the exact price beforehand. That’s another reason I like the 30-second chart. Sometimes I’m not trying to place the perfect limit order and pray price touches it. I’m watching the move happen and, when MY conditions appear, I hit the fucking button. OBSERVE → RECOGNISE → WAIT → REACT. Not: GUESS → PRAY → GET LIQUIDATED. 😂 I’ll keep posting examples of these behaviours when I catch them so you can see exactly what the fuck I’m talking about.

One thing before we continue: I’m planning to trade full-time myself. That means when I’m trading, I’M FUCKING TRADING. 😂 I won’t be sitting there replying to DMs while I’ve got positions open and four charts screaming at me. You can still send questions. I’ll read them when I have time. If I notice lots of people confused about the same thing, rather than answering everybody individually I’ll probably make another post explaining it. That way everybody gets the answer. And sometime in the future I’d also like to start a YouTube channel and trade live in front of the camera. Not: “Here’s the trade I definitely took yesterday at the exact fucking bottom.” 😂 Actually LIVE. You’ll see what I’m watching. What I’m thinking. Why I’m considering entering. Why I’m waiting. Why I’m getting out. And you’ll also see when I’m completely fucking wrong. No paid course. No paid trading room. I just want to document what I’ve learned and share it. Maybe somebody takes my observations, improves them, and becomes a much better trader than this idiot. I’d actually fucking love that. 😂📈
