One misconception I see way too often on X:
New traders see someone make a wrong call and immediately start shitting on them like being wrong means you don’t know how to trade.
Someone please tell these fools how trading actually works.
We don’t play to be right. We play probabilities.
A trader can be wrong 40–50% of the time and still be highly profitable.
What actually matters?
• Win Rate: How often you’re right
• Profit Factor: Gross profit ÷ gross loss
• Expectancy: What you statistically make per trade
• Max Drawdown: How much pain your strategy takes during losing periods
You can have a 40% win rate and still make money.
You can have a 70% win rate and still blow your account.
No one is 100% right all the time.
Stop judging a trader by one call.
Judge the system, risk management and results over a large sample size.
Trading isn’t about predicting every move.
It’s about making more when you’re right than you lose when you’re wrong.
