I walked into this 1889 Gothic church in Leesburg and forgot I was still in Florida. Pointed arches. Dark wood. Light pouring through stained glass that looks like it belongs in a cathedral, not a small-town sanctuary. Then I learned the story: a 1947 fire gutted the interior. They rebuilt in 1948… and recreated the stained glass above the altar from photographs of the originals. The glass you see is a resurrection of what almost burned away. I’ve been in a lot of Florida churches. I’ve never seen one more stunning than St. James Episcopal. The light hits different in here. ✨ ⛪️

I drive past this in the mornings and still can’t look away. Beautiful horses pulling a tiny two-wheeled cart. Driver sitting low—flying over the dirt. I learned those carts are called sulkies. They look like an absolute blast. I keep wondering what that life feels like… the speed, the rhythm, the flying dirt. The gift is back. 🎁 She saw herself on video taking what wasn’t hers from Willis Cosmetic Surgery’s grand opening, then had someone else drop it off because she was too ashamed to walk in and apologize herself. A personalized candle and ornament. Not expensive. Just something made for Dr. Willis on the night he finally opened his new practice after years of work. She took it anyway, along with the free stuff they were handing out, and put a damper on a night that was supposed to be a celebration. The only reason it came back is because the video exists. Now she wants it taken down. He says it stays up until she looks him in the eye and apologizes in person. That’s the whole story. It was never about the dollar amount. It was the principle. #HopeFiles
