It was an absolute pleasure to review Black Jacket for Minimap. It's a fantastic game, and to me, the most underrated title of 2026 so far.

Honestly how fucking horrendous the NYCHA Self Service Portal site is. Every year I always find it to be terrible. Constantly locks up, doesn't update things properly. Garbage site.

Until Activision stops using GenAI in COD, I won't be playing it again. You have more than enough money as a company to pay some artists.

Strain has gotten better. Caught some kind of bug with sore throat, fatigue and sneezing but should be fine. Back to the grind 😤
I strained my right arm pretty bad recently, probably from overwork. So it's been hard to write or game these last few days. I've been doing it sporadically though. And its easier to type on a phone.
I did start RE4 OG today though. Only 3 hours in and I'm impressed.

Rest in power to the homie Mike the helicopter pilot, I will see you in Valhalla 🙏

Feel a little bad that the AAAs I tried this year didn't really do much for me. Favorite games of the year so far are Indies - Esoteric Ebb, Black Jacket, and Denshattack!
Definitely gonna catch up on a bunch + new releases tho.

This is why you do the awards when the year is actually over
Not just GTA, many games have been snubbed of a proper nomination because of this
Alanah Pearce claims that GTA 6 is unlikely to be eligible for The Game Awards and likely won't be considered for GOTY.
In 2025, the first round of Jury was done by Nov 4th & they announced nominees on Nov 17th. Unless TGA voting is delayed, GTA 6 is not getting a nomination.

Still dealing with an arm strain but I managed to type up a short piece on Lost Wiki: Kozlovka! I wasn't particularly enthused the way I wanted to be but it's a solid little game and the devs have great potential.

Need people to understand that unless your favorite game is called Fortnite, doing collabs is not a good sign for the game's health, even if it pushes the revenue like this. It means the game would be much worse off in player retention and revenue without them.
Overwatch Places Top 5 in Shooter Revenue 📈
According to recent Newzoo data, #Overwatch was the fourth highest-grossing PC shooter in the first half of the year, just ahead of Marvel Rivals.
Fortnite, CS, and Valorant were the Top 3.

Would be nice if Rockstar went back to smaller scale projects. Love their games regardless but getting a game from them sooner than later would be nice
Rumor: LA Noire will have a sequel after GTA 6
- Set in San Francisco
- Story is about the Zodiac killer
- Likely coming in 2030
- Rockstar wants to take the face scanning to the next level
What gives this leaker credibility is that they managed to accurately describe GTA 6 mechanics back in 2023, such as the relationship and criminal profile and how they’ll affect the story.
The leaker also correctly stated that the game was supposed to have 4 protagonists (Rob Nelson confirmed this in recent previews).
