F91 is such a fascinating film because it's one of the clearest examples of a project of compromises that had to make so any sacrifices and still came out special. Clearly a story condensed down from something supposed to a massive grand scale tv show

Those first 54 mins are magical. No way they'd be able to produce a show that looked this good being a weekly TV anime production. One of the coolest elongated action sequences I've ever seen. I wouldve loved to see what the show would be like but I'm happy with the movie we got

I was in my local anime store yesterday & was like "damn some of this shit seems kinda pricier than i expected" then i compared their shelf price for a gustav karl i bought on amazon 3 months ago literally $25 more expensive. I'm sorry but how can you expect business like this
