I've hear the same for years now. "My Hyundai has self-drive", my XYZ has self-drive... 🤣The dealerships likely over-sell them, "but this has it too..." Oh!

I have 2 cars. Both are 2024. They both have access to the best available automation and physical safety options provided by the manufacturer. One is locked in 2024, and isn't smart enough to change lanes, or read stop lights or stop signs. The other is constantly updating and getting smarter monthly. So smart I can plug in addresses that are an hour from home while sitting in the driveway, and I don't have to touch the gas, brake, or steering wheel until we get there - and even then it's just parking spot preference most of the time. I love both cars. But one of them is so much safer and smarter that they're not even on the same playing field.

Hysterical!! I've only had my Tesla for 3 months and I'm already visably irritated when I have to explain that FSDs in NOT THE SAME as auto pilot. Of course, numbskulls irritate me in general but this just adds to it.

“my car drives itself too” like no… your car can’t pull out from a parking spot, drive itself across the city to a Walmart, park in the parking lot, come pick you up from the door, take you back home, and drive in perfectly inside your garage.

Just found my spirit person. I try to explain to other ‘self driving’ vehicles are not the same as Tesla’s FSD. I get it, baby, NO ONE understands until they drive one. It’s amazing!

My friend, you are not the only ambassador. For what some of us guys are doing in our countries to get FSD, Tesla could give us diplomatic immunity and diplomatic license plates.

I always hear this about the adaptive cruise control or whatever else the car companies want to call it. Not the same thing by far. FSD blows it out of the water!
