For years, I’ve had no party affiliation as registered a voter. I considered myself a moderate and tried to understand both sides of the isle. Plus, if I had any conservative views, I wanted to hide them from liberal friends and neighbors. I didn’t want to be attacked. After Charlie Kirk’s assassination, I feel sad, angry, and trying to make sense why this happened. The only thing that makes sense to me is to switch my party affiliation to Republican. I will
still be respectful to all, and I understand I may no longer get invites from my liberal friends, but the introverted bear in me has been stirred. I’m tired of hiding, and I’m proud of who I am and my beliefs. Together, we can make a difference. Let’s do this for Charlie.
