Abstract
I just got accepted to Paradigm Fellowship 2025! 🎉 Huge thanks to the @paradigm team for believing in me. They took a bet that a 20yo who never attended university should co-author the financial system of the future. How it happened 🧵

Perfect approach! Exactly what we think at @touch_market. With one exception: we think one needs to simplify 0dte even more to be a definite success. You can change the payoff to binary (one-touch options) which produces a multitude of UX/interface improvements. dms open

Let me give y’all some news. You put $1000 into your perp exchange. Go 10x leverage. They count it as $10k volume. You sell the position. $20k total. …all while your portfolio’s value barely moved.
Okay, Kalshi is cooked They didn’t just inflate perps volume they also FAKED their prediction market volume by over 50% !! 61% of their prediction volume comes from parlays And 48% of those are 11+ leg parlays mostly with 20x+ odds Bet $1 at 20.05x → Kalshi counts $20.05 in volume

Buttonwood gives users “mortgages” to buy trillion-dollar company tokenized equities, after a 50 percent downpayment, on @RobinhoodCrypto - These mortgages are convertible if a user chooses — meaning, if the purchased equity or token appreciates by 50 percent or more, the mortgage is automatically repaid with part of the underlying equity tokens. - Meanwhile, lenders receive a fungible “consol” (consolidated annuity) token representing their loaned funds. As a result, lenders receive market upside exposure in addition to lending interest (including tailwinds from AI), while borrowers gain protection from liquidations. The app is now live for testnet and can be found at app.button.finance and the white paper is at docs.button.finance/whitepap… More coming soon

Twitter has a list of the shows I've watched and it's very wrong about more than half. Also, my inferred age is 13-54. I'm difficult to read! (didn't notice I mentioned my age is some tweets…)

At least 69% of smart people on CT don't understand how perps work. People perpetual futures' mechanics are "simple", but it's far from that. In fact, the actual complexity has been throttling growth for years.
When a funding event happens on a perpetual future, the perp price moves:

To answer the question from the poll: the price moves away from the index on funding. Following the no-arbitrage argument, if the "overvalued" side pays the undervalued, they had to anticipate it. When the payment is done, they hold the position without the obligation to pay the funding, so the position is worth more. This is precisely the mechanic that makes perps' price relatively stable: the price stays close to the index price because otherwise the funding payments would increase exponentially – this presents an incentive to exit existing positions or enter opposite ones.

Non-custodial? Hahahaha Your favorite “onboarding experience” provider is pretty much always custodial, no matter what they say. Privy and the likes included
⚠️ EXPLOIT HAPPENING RIGHT NOW ON THE LATEST @fomo iOS APP ⚠️ 6 hours ago FOMO updated its iOS app for "Small bug fixes" and they must have accidentally added something malicious in its new code. A friend of mine opened his phone around 15 mins ago to place a trade and his balance got drained instantly. It was 662 SOL worth around $62k, might not be a lot of money to some of you guys but it was almost everything he had. He could literally watch the funds moving on-chain, but on the FOMO app it still showed as if his balance was there. He thought the app was non-custodial, idk what happened here. So far reports have shown that the Android version of the app is unaffected and this is only targeting iOS users. Please be careful everyone, the estimated damage is around $6m so far. I'd suggest to delete the app for now until there's more clarity and whether the team will refund the lost money.

If this resonates, you’re retarded. Calibration is not “predicting the future”.
We ran a study on over 2 million markets to evaluate their calibration. To our knowledge, this is the largest replicable study on this topic. Here are the results: 🧵

Many people applying send AI-generated messages to me. Imo this is incredibly immature. The point of us talking is for me to understand someone's way of thinking. With a third party talking for them, communication is meaningless and merely informs of the general intent told to the third party. Even putting being able to fake things perfectly aside, this shows they don't know why they're actually talking to me. I think I may just start ghosting anybody using third parties (yes, this includes human assistants) to talk to me without disclosing it.

Maker rebates are an MK Ultra-level psyop that has the entire market willingly accepting worse effective prices and locked spreads, while cheering the exchange for "deep liquidity".

Maker rebates are a psyop

So, you may have heard about the term "maker rebates". Maker rebates are just negative fees paid (received) by makers. In some places, it just means "reduced fees", but analogous arguments as below
