If you have made something with AI and you think it’s finished. Please take 24 hours off and then look back at it before you share it. AI results are so instant you will think β€œit’s done” and you tend to forget how much effort it actually takes for something to be β€œdone.” It feels nice in the moment, the rush to get something out, the suspension of belief, the β€œI can’t believe this worked,” but I promise you that people have already begun to gloss over anything clearly AI generated and so it ends up doing you a reputational disservice. It could be the best thing in the world, but if it has an em dash, or an it’s not x it’s y statement, or a classic Claude-looking front end style, no one will care to take it seriously. Don’t ship slop, take a day off and look at it with a fresh pair of eyes.

ethereum should not change the issuance rate: 1. you can't change the underlying economics of a protocol and expect people to believe in it. 2. you can't set a precedent where economics can be changed and expect institutions to believe in it. you can't shatter belief.

two months ago i spent a weekend pointing an ai at millions of epstein court documents, financial records, and deposition transcripts. by monday it was on the charts. a few weeks later it had 2.8 million downloads across 83 countries, and i still hadn't spent a single dollar on marketing. that weekend changed how i think about media - everyone knows it's broken and i'm gonna try and fix it. i realized the biggest bottleneck in media has never been the stories. it's been the human capital required to find them. so i started a company to create media that i wanted to consume. i'm calling it the neural broadcast network (nbn.fm). we're a technology-first media company producing original shows across politics, culture, business, science, and more, all sourced from public records, all cited, no spin. two shows live now, many more on the way. the next great media company will make you wonder why you ever trusted the last one. full story in today's newsletter.
