My only real take on the Balogun saga (other than being pumped to watch him play again) is Belgium is embarrassing themselves more than anyone. It's not like Balogun got popped for PEDs. You were about to get lucky on essentially a technicality. Embrace the spirit of competition.

Offside does legitimately need to be tweaked in the VAR era. At least change the rule to make it strictly based on feet. Guys getting called offside because they're leaning forward or have an arm extended makes no sense and contravenes the spirit of the rule.
