Hal Jordan didn't even get a glorious death befitting a hero of his stature. He gets shot by a emotional woman having a crash out. And what does his death even mean? Usually when a major character in a series dies, that death should have consequences. It should devastate the audience, alter the characters who remain, and fundamentally alter the story going forward. Remember the emotions you felt with Spock's death in The Wrath of Khan? People still can't watch that scene without getting choked up. It reverberates throughout the rest of the film series, affects the other characters because of how important Spock is to us as the audience and to the story as a whole. So what impact will Hal Jordan's murder have on the DCU? Does anyone even care? Will it even be mentioned again? Probably not. If one of the most important superheroes in DC history dies and the universe barely seems to notice, then what was the point? No one even showed up at his funeral. What a disrespectful way to kill off one of the greatest superheroes ever. Hal Jordan deserved better. #JusticeForHal

You Snyder cultists really found two completely different points in cinematic history, slapped their grosses together, and thought you discovered the fucking Rosetta Stone. 😭 The MCU’s first two movies were Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk. The Snyderverse’s first two were Man of Steel and fucking Batman v Superman. One had Iron Man and Hulk; the other had Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. Of course the latter made more money. And comparing two movies to a cinematic universe that lasted years is already dumb as shit. Box office ≠ profit, and grossing more money in 2013–2016 doesn’t magically mean the Snyderverse was sustainable or that reviving it in 2026 would print billions. This isn’t financial analysis. It’s #RestoreTheSnyderVerse fanfiction with a calculator. 💀
