Alex, what an extraordinary display of intellectual arrogance.
You’re a former UKIP spin doctor, a seven-month Brexit Party MEP, a Reform adviser and a broadcaster. That’s political communications experience, not an automatic qualification to lecture the public on intelligence operations while dismissing everyone else as idiots.
And your own record warrants scrutiny.
In 2019, you called questions about Cambridge Analytica “libellous”, before Channel 4 obtained a recording contradicting your denial. You subsequently acknowledged working on Kenya’s election campaign through its parent company, SCL.
Rather awkward for someone demanding impeccable sources and professional credibility.
Then there’s Nathan Gill, your former political colleague and employer, imprisoned for accepting pro-Russian bribes. To your credit, you reportedly approached police voluntarily. Unlike your sweeping accusations here, that was a genuine, documented foreign influence operation.
So where is YOUR evidence?
Name the individuals supposedly encouraging riots. Identify their actions. Produce the intelligence linking them to this CRINK/OPEC+ conspiracy.
Nobody sensible wants Molotov cocktails on British streets. Opposing violence is not the same as demanding political silence.
You have every right to an opinion, Alex. So does everybody else.
What you don’t have is some divine authority to declare dissenters intellectually inferior.
Your entire post is an exercise in sneering condescension, unsupported accusations and theatrical self-importance.
Political spin isn’t intelligence. Name-calling isn’t expertise. And a thesaurus isn’t a substitute for evidence.
For someone so contemptuous of keyboard warriors, you’ve produced a remarkably convincing audition for the role.

Many on this site don't understand the first thing about the propagation of rioting in some countries in Europe.
They are armchair anarchy-mongers who mistakenly think we need destructive drama. Just because their shallow lives lack true valour and depth, we don't want molotov cocktails on our streets just to titilate these keyboard warrior wankers.
They don't know a thing about that which they proselytise, but love circle jerking to the sound of their own voices as they rabidly salivate at the prospect of civil unrest like rubbernecking ghoulish perverted fantasists, who have clearly never experienced a day in their life more challenging than observing a shoplifter at Swindon's Outlet Village.
They are fidgeting toddlers without a jot of real world experience in this domain, no genuine intel on emerging crises other than what they see on social media, nor valid source networks from within operations that can substantiate even one of their thrusting postulations. How pathetic they look to those who have a genuine comprehension of the things they are squealing about with missplaced zeal.
They have no literacy in the network of the CRINK-cum-Opec+ nexus of influence. Even more ironically, they don't realise they are actually part of it.
They equally have no workable answers nor solutions beyond their aggrandizing strident mantras on X catered to a boneheaded algorithm that gives their tiny pipsqueak balls a little thrill.
The disdain I have for these cosplay crusaders multiplies by the milisecond.
They are part of the problem at this point, as the dangerous cocktail of ego and ignorance mixed with online faux dopamine has become.
There is a reason not one viable person with real world, professional experience in geopolitics, politics, intelligence and strategy ever joins their knuckleheaded chorus nor shows them any support. Because to anyone with even just one line on their CV pointing to relevant experience, they look like a bunch of drooling pillocks.
