Since the beginning of 2026, #DubaiMunicipality has conducted more than 16,000 inspection visits across residential areas in the emirate, including more than 800 visits across Al Warqa residential areas. The inspections form part of the Municipality’s ongoing monitoring of construction activities and building use, helping identify violations at an early stage, follow up on corrective measures and strengthen compliance among property owners and occupants, while addressing practices that may affect residents’ safety and the quality of the residential environment.

نفّذت #بلدية_دبي أكثر من 16 ألف زيارة تفتيشية شملت مختلف المناطق السكنية في الإمارة منذ بداية العام الجاري، من بينها أكثر من 800 زيارة في مناطق الورقاء السكنية، ذلك ضمن حملاتها الرقابية والتفتيشية الدورية لمتابعة أنشطة البناء، ورصد الممارسات المخالفة بشكل مبكر، ومتابعة الإجراءات التصحيحية، بما يعزز امتثال الملاك والقاطنين، ويسهم في الحفاظ على سلامة السكان وجودة البيئة السكنية.

نظّمت #بلدية_دبي أول "ليغاثون مستقبل البناء"، في أبراج الإمارات، بمشاركة نخبة من الجهات الحكومية وممثلي قطاع البناء والتشييد والمبتكرين والمتخصصين، لبحث التحديات التنظيمية والتشريعية المرتبطة بتبني تقنيات البناء الناشئة في دبي، وذلك ضمن جهود بلدية دبي الرامية إلى تعزيز كفاءة منظومة الامتثال والحوكمة، ودعم التطوير المستمر لقطاع بناء مرن ومستعد للمستقبل. وشهدت الفعالية توقيع اتفاقية تعاون بين بلدية دبي ومؤسسة دبي للمستقبل، لدعم التجارب التنظيمية ضمن إطار "البيئة العمرانية الذكية" في "ساندبوكس دبي".

#DubaiMunicipality organised Dubai’s first “Future of Construction Legathon” at Emirates Towers, bringing together government entities, construction sector stakeholders, innovators and specialists to address the regulatory and legislative challenges associated with adopting emerging construction technologies in Dubai. The event forms part of the Municipality’s efforts to enhance the effectiveness of compliance and governance and support the continued development of an agile, future-ready construction sector. The event also witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between Dubai Municipality and Dubai Future Foundation to support regulatory experimentation within the Smart Built Environment framework under Sandbox Dubai.

#DubaiMunicipality announced the completion of a series of strategic projects and initiatives aimed at developing infrastructure, enhancing quality of life standards, and promoting sustainable development across workers’ areas, in coordination with strategic partners from the government sector. This package reflects the collective government effort to develop workers’ areas, enhance the living environment for workers across the Emirate, and implement the outcomes of the Workers’ Accommodation Policy. It includes infrastructure development, improvements to the structural condition of buildings, and the provision of integrated services, community spaces, and recreational facilities, contributing to building safe and sustainable communities for workers.
