On the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, the United Kingdom remembers the near 3,000 people who lost their lives on that terrible day, including 67 British citizens.
We pay tribute to all those affected including frontline emergency workers, who continue to confront the threat of terrorism and put their lives at risk to protect others. We honour the courage and sacrifice of members of the Armed Forces who have lost their lives in the fight against terrorism.

The NATO Submarine Rescue System has completed a rapid response exercise that proves it can be flown by @RoyalAirForce anywhere in the 🌍.
Using a simulator that had the dimensions and deck arrangement of a C-17 Globemaster, the exercise is key to ensuring this capable system.
