I'm going to report this factually because none of this is good. Last night around 300 anti-migrant protestors rioted in Gosport. There was significant violence and abuse against police officers, they also threw screws and nails in the road, along with creating barricades preventing police from ultimately leaving the scene. There were 16 arrests. Amongst all this, another 149 undocumented migrants arrived in the UK, were processed and taken to the migrant centre in Margate. The security operation, which was only necessary because of the protestors, cost the UK taxpayer over £200,000. None of this above is acceptable or exusable. Using violence and intimidation is not an acceptable form of protest. And we absolutely need to find long-term solutions to prevent undocumented migrants being able to leave France and arrive on small boats, as since Brexit we have no legal method of returning them to their point of origin.

That's because you mobilised a bunch of thugs to disrupt official business. If you hadn't done that, the operation wouldn't have been necessary, the cost wouldn't have been incurred.

You can pay for the clean up from your protests. Pay for the Police bill- the sick days they will endure as a result of mob violence. Reform are not a credible party- they want to bring violence to the streets & dont want to face the consequences. Reform are the 'Enemy Within'.
