Bandai Namco's Shin Unozawa originally intended for Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures to be an animated movie.
The decision to make it a TV series came from Shukuo Ishikawa, with Masaya Nakamura and producer Avi Arad in agreement of the idea.

Released in 1990, Galaxian3: Project Dragoon served as an attraction for Japan's International Garden and Greenery Exposition.
Though it did release for Playstation in 1996, the original game was known for its huge cabinets - one of which even provided room for up to 28 people!

The games started out as freeware, but they were eventually picked up by ValuSoft to publish for retail.

According to Scott Rogers, in a 2016 interview with yours truly, Orson is named after the innovative film director, Orson Welles. Orson being secluded in his mansion on Ghost Island is meant to pay homage to Welles's Citizen Kane.
Also, the name "Orson" sounded funny and wimpy.
