We’re delighted to announce the opening of “Scanner Salamanca”, an installation in the towers of La Clerecía in Salamanca. It is part of the exhibition project “Latiendo” which offers an expanded route that redefines the Scala Coeli experience.

A tangle of electrical, telephone, and computer cables hangs from the ceiling, while lines of light are projected onto them, transforming the installation with a sparkling effect that appears to travel along the length of the cables. If you’re in Salamanca, don’t miss it!

The partnership pairs bitforms’ long-standing engagement with the histories and infrastructures of digital and time-based work with Rip Space’s process-driven approach to experimentation and ideas in motion. 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒖𝒎 coincides with bitforms gallery’s 25th anniversary, reflecting a legacy of supporting artists who have defined generative and software-based practices. Pioneers like Daniel Canogar and Casey Reas, whose work helped establish code as an artistic medium, are presented alongside artists such as Sarah Rothberg, whose practice engages interactive systems and AI to explore the social and psychological dimensions of technology.
