To the Christian contractor: If your work is sloppy, if you hire unskilled foreigners, if you cut corners on the job, or if you inflate your estimates because you think the customer won't notice, you are both a bad businessman and a bad witness for Christ.
You are doing work for the King of Kings.
Every seam welded, every hire made, every estimate given, every nail hammered, every screw drilled, every drop of sweat fallen, every word spoken, every joist erected, every door installed, every tile grouted, every paycheck signed, every truck bought, every blueprint read, and every hour on the clock is an act of worship to our God.
Excellence isn't an "option" for a Christian; it is the absolute minimum requirement.
Let’s return to the Protestant Work Ethic that we were once known for.
