I get so annoyed when I see claims that Australian bureaucrats take bribes. The majority of problems are due to the policies of various governments, however bureaucrats are required to carry out their demands. Giving frank & fearless advice is a guaranteed career limiting move.

I may have to renounce my Australian citizenship. Today I bought a large block of Cadbury dairy milk chocolate and a large block of Galaxy chocolate. Both imported from the UK. I have to admit the UK Cadbury’s is much better than the one made in Australia ☹️🇦🇺

What a disappointing start to the day. Half awake and hear a sound that made me think the other half had put the kettle on to make me a morning cuppa. A bit more awake and I remember he’s still interstate and the sound is rain, not the kettle 😫

Trying to cut down on sugary snacks so wrote a little reminder on an index card, noting I am an Aussie so my reference to a biscuit is like a cookie: One biscuit is a joy, two biscuits are pleasurable, any more than that is misery! 🍪
