The ad to supposedly help Vivek was one of the most strategically stupid ads I have seen in my 30 years in this business. It was so obviously predictable that the counterpunch was going to hurt far more than the punch. It might cost us a US Senate seat.

You invoked a mother who defended a man who raped her daughter from the age of 3 to 12, joined him on the lam when he fled after being indicted and became a fugitive, lost her son and daughter in the process as a character witness. One day you will meet God. I pray for your soul
The fact that she’s hiding from debate, hiding from questions, & bans cameras at her events should tell you something. It’s beyond bizarre.

GOP not beating the "we protect pedophiles" rap by elevating and defending Acton's mom (a documented pedophile protector/apologist)

.@amyactonoh on Vivek Ramaswamy's abhorrent campaign ad: "I won't normalize somebody who has said that my childhood is 'something I'm just complaining about,' who today, just released an ad using my birth mother, who I was removed from at the age of 12 for severe abuse and neglect and sexual abuse... The words our leaders use matter and I think it's gonna take courage right now from all of us to stop normalizing this sort of rhetoric."

Good example of the fact that the religious right will tolerate and condone *absolutely anything* in order to fight against the inexorable progression of cultural liberalism (Trump is a prime example of this). "Owning the libs" is the eternal north star for these people

If you're truly outraged: 1. Publicly denounce the slaughter of unborn children in the womb. 2. Publicly denounce the slaughter of Christian women in Nigeria. And announce that you have donated to the Voice of Marty's to help. Your fear tactics and hypocrisy aren't going to work.

The term “Shylock” is rooted in a longstanding antisemitic stereotype. Regardless of intent, its use can reinforce harmful tropes about Jews and normalize language that has long been used to target the Jewish community.
Community note
The term was used (for at least the second intent in as many years) by President Trump. forbes.com/sites/siladity… Important context to point out the user of the term regardless of intent.

Vivek showing everyone that he's not only annoying but *also* a cruel sociopath. Fun combo!
Yeah. This ad could sink Vivek.

The only things we know for sure from Texas' first-day early vote totals are: 1. Dallas had gangbusters turnout. 2. Blue suburbs had very high turnout. 3. Red exurbs had very high turnout. That's really it. Anyone who tells you they know anything more about what's going on in the Texas early vote is getting way out ahead of their skis.

Friendly reminder that Activote is not a real, scientific poll, which is why forecasters like Vothub and Nate Silver don't count them in their averages/models

Me before joining Twitter: voting is awesome, make it free and easy baby✌️ 🗳️ ❤️ Me after joining Twitter: ban early voting. Ban it straight to hell
If these exact numbers hold this is like an R+4 statewide win for Paxton.

RT @mrransomx: Either lean the undecideds or cut them out of your poll. You shouldn’t be doing a RV poll two weeks from Election Day.

The tide is turning. My aunt Kathy was a reliable Democratic voter her entire life. But when she heard billions were being spent on an updated golf course in DC, she decided to vote straight ticket GOP. “Some things are more important than affordable groceries,” she said🙏🇺🇸

Had President Trump simply kept the JCPOA in place, it would have almost certainly been renewed and there'd be no war with Iran and no closure of the straits of hormuz and no spike in diesel and gas prices, and things would be fine for Republicans.
