Just rolled credits on Control Resonant, and my head is spinning with questions. Honestly, the game is an absolute 10/10—the scope, the lore drops, and the reality-bending setpieces are incredible. That said, I do have one glaring gripe: Where was Poets of the Fall / Old Gods of Asgard? I know the band is busy in the studio working on new material, which felt like the perfect timing to drop a brand-new track into the game. Don't get me wrong—it's always awesome that Remedy spotlights lesser-known indie artists to build out the eerie radio atmosphere. But as Tor and Odin Anderson always say: "Balance slays the demon." In a Remedy title, an Old Gods banger isn’t just background noise; it’s the parautilitarian soul of the game. Going through a massive, chaotic climax without an anthemic track to anchor that signature Ashtray Maze/Herald of Darkness energy felt like a piece of the puzzle was missing. Fingers crossed whatever they're cooking up right now finds its way into an upcoming DLC. Anyone else feel that void during the big fights?
