Congratulations to President Trump, HM King Mohammed VI, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bourita on the signing of this momentous Board of Peace charter.  We have a bright future with the Board of Peace leading the way!

As I look to this picture on the wall of my office, I feel honored to have served as the ambassador to our oldest ally, The Kingdom of Morocco. 250 years ago, Morocco opened it's ports to the United States, and recognized us as a nation. With the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, the next 250 years are poised to be spectacular.

The United Nations Security Council, with a historic vote, supports the United States, and the Kingdom of Morocco’s position of autonomy over the Western Sahara.  Again, this is historic.  Congratulations to HM King Mohammed VI and the Kingdom of Morocco.  There is still much to do to formalize this agreement, but I am very proud.

Congratulations to this outstanding Moroccan U20 @EnMaroc team—and to all of Morocco. Go Morocco! Go Morocco! Go Morocco! What is the next goal? The @FIFA World Cup in June next year!

The future of Morocco is bright ... and the young people of Morocco are even brighter! There was a team competing in the @VexRobotics World Championships last week in Dallas, and I could not be happier or more proud. The future of Morocco is what I am so excited to see. It was an honor to serve as Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco four years ago under President Trump. And it is an honor to welcome back President Trump to the Oval Office. As I think about our time in Morocco, I smile because I know that the future is now even brighter, with our two countries once again strengthening bonds, encouraging trade, and working together. The FIRST OLYMPIC MEDAL in football for Morocco, but certainly not the last. This bronze medal is a signal to the world that football in Morocco has become a force in the world. Congratulations . . . the future is bright. Go Morocco Go!

I know the loss hurts, but the Atlas Lions played with honor and effort and such joy. I know the Bronze Medal will come home to Morocco three days from now, and it will be Morocco's first ever Olympic Football Medal. But it will not be the last. I will be right here watching. The United States, Israel, Spain . . . and now France recognize Morocco’s sovereignty over the Western Sahara. In a letter to King Mohammed VI, President Emmanuel Macron of France said:  “I consider that the present and the future of Western Sahara fall within the framework of Moroccan sovereignty.”  #AbrahamAccords

The @AbrahamAccords ARE WORKING! I am proud and happy to witness this landmark moment, as The Abraham Accords made it possible for the @UN to deliver food and aid from @Morocco to Northern Gaza--THROUGH ISRAEL. @AbrahamAccords continue to make a difference in the world.

2030 will be a fantastic year, as Morocco hosts the FIFA World Cup. The King's commitment to sport will be the perfect window into the majesty of Morocco, and it only makes sense that Morocco gets a chance to play for The World Cup in its home country. Go Morocco! #WorldCup2030
