Yesterday I woke up to see one of my main competitors had just joined YC.
At first I was disheartened by this and thought, "How can I possibly compete?"
But quickly realised this was a good sign.
It's the ultimate validation, and I welcome the competition.
I don't need to operate on their scale.
I just need to focus on my existing customers, build an even better product and the sales will come.
Yesterday they lost something.
The speed and flexibility of a solo founder/small team.
That is something I still have.
