The number of Thai visitors has plummeted because India has made getting the visa much more difficult. When there are constant stories of rejection, even the biggest India fans lose interest. My wife is a prime example.
The most tragic fact in world tourism is that India probably should be the most touristed place on earth. It has the cultural heritage, diversity, and natural beauty of an entire world dreamed up for a science-fiction or fantasy novel, and we’re being robbed of the chance to spend time there because, well, you all know why.

To get a visa for India i had to complete 11 pages of questions that went like "what was the name of the village your grand-grandmother lived in". Apparently to seed out some terrorists from a neighboring country. Interesting experience, to say the least

its always been illegal to open bank accounts here on tr visas as also the nominee with regards to property. is aware of that so if they still chose to do so then complaining now holds no water.
What's wrong is the govt dont penalise anyone else except the foreigners, not banks

British Airways has launched an investigation after all three pilots operating flight BA276 from Hyderabad, India, to London Heathrow, England, reportedly suffered food poisoning following an overnight stopover.
The first pilot was rendered ‘incapacitated’ at 30,000 ft and had to be put on oxygen and needed serious medical care upon landing.
The other two pilots managed to work, but their symptoms continued to worsen.
The pilots had shared breakfast in a hotel lounge in Hyderabad, but drank bottled water from an external company.
British Airways said in a statement, "The welfare of our colleagues is a top priority, and we are reviewing crew accommodation in this location following some isolated reports of sickness."
They all filed Air Safety Reports and were asked to provide samples so doctors could try to pinpoint the source, with British Airways now reviewing their hotel options.

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
